“Bible 101” Class

Join us for this 6-week high-level look at the Bible! We’ll be looking at each of the 66 books in the Protestant Bible, highlighting key stories, characters and important concepts and/or actions. We’ll also touch on some of the “stories behind the stories” as we gain more knowledge of how cultural surroundings, social/legalistic structures, and literary formats of Biblical times influenced the Biblical authors. This class will use the NRSV version of the Bible, but feel free to bring your own Bible, notebook and pen to class.
