Tips for Writing Your Own Obituary

Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer managed to hear their own funerals.  Maybe it’s time for us to think about having the last word about our lives and see the words written before we’re gone.  It would be a great help for your family to see your own life summary while you’re still around.  We will share ideas about how to make an obituary interesting and one that grabs attention.  Special guest Joe Dittler, obituary writer for the Coronado Eagle and Coronado Times will share his insights from writing obits for many years.  We are all authorities of our own lives.  Why not be the author of our own panoramic view of who we are.  Refreshments will include Anastasia’s famous cookies.
